Fabric Draper.com offers two types of round paper ceiling lanterns, Standard and Premium. Both lantern types are of outstanding quality. Our Standard round paper lantern are available in a variety of colors, and feature pared-down packaging, parallel wire ribbing and a simple c hook expander. The lanterns are intended to be used with cord sets or battery lights only and cannot clip onto a light bulb like the Premium lanterns. Please note that the Standard colors do not match our Premium lantern colors although they may share the same name. Please order in one lantern product line if you need matching colors.

Our Premium round paper lanterns are made of the finest quality rice paper and feature either the parellel or freestyle wire ribbing. If you prefer the freestyle wire ribbing not all premium lantern sizes feature the freestyle ribbing so please check the product description of your specific lantern size before ordering. Here are examples of the two wire ribbing styles.

Our Premium lanterns includes a versatile expander which can be clipped directly to a light bulb. The Premium lantern line also offers a larger variety of colors than the standard line.

The Kit includes lanterns, magnets and a magnet holder. Our aluminum/fiberglass magnet pole, which has a reach of 24 ft., is an optional item as well as LED lights and monofilament.
